This weekend Danielle and I went to Belgium. Great! a weekend off without the kids. We left saturdaymorning at 10 AM after we left Julius and Valentijn at my parents house.
It's almost a two hour drive to the beautiful city of Gent. We had a nice hotel not to far from the city centre. (www.edenhotel.be).
We visited the cathedral, beautiful art from Rubens (amongs others). Looked at other architecture, did some serious shopping and then went for Belgian beers and good food. We ended the day in a nice bar, called the 'Trollenkelder'. Nice atmosphere and funny waiters.
Sunday all day in the sauna in Tilburg and then back to the kids. It was great and we had a lot of fun together. Thanks mum and dad for looking after the boys!!
